Celebrating mothers

One of my lovely crunch and brunch pals has recently become a new mum... She popped into the gym this morning to introduce us to baby Rex, who is around five weeks old and perfect in every way..

I then headed round to see my own lovely mum for a cuppa and a catch up, before knuckling down to a bit of sewing this afternoon...

It's been great seeing friends on facebook posting up their own tributes and family pictures today... No matter how old we get our mums are always precious... in fact I think you treasure them more the longer you get to know them...
