Connecticut Countryside

It was a rainy evening in Connecticut, while visiting my son. He took me to a wonderful place that I intend on going back to in the spring. It's a beautiful, old country estate that is now called the Hillstead museum.
This photo is on the road to the entrance of the estate. Acres of farm land, gardens and views line the drive. I can only imagine how lovely it is in the late spring, when the flowers are blooming.
