First Impression of Frankfurt

Today, we (= my friend M. and I) drove Jo to the international Airport in Frankfurt. Jo is off for 3 weeks to Chile :).
M. and I decided we would take the opportunity to stay in Frankfurt until Sunday. People in Germany are so very friendly and if they see you with a map in hand and looking around to find your way, they ask if they can be of any help.
It happened to us tonight, and we ended up talking to the helpful lady for half an hour. She also told us that she has been living in Frankfurt for 35 years. We interviewed her about what it is to live there and her answer was quick : Frankfurt is expensive, housing prices are high and poverty is going up steadily... I thought this picture could illustrate what counts most in Frankfurt (like in many other places...)
