Today has been a strange day. I was at a welcome workshop for the red cross that I should have done 3 1/2 years ago but only now require it as a prerequisite for another course. I knew most of the stuff but it's always interesting to be reminded quite how big an organisation the red cross is and how many people they help across the world.

Afterwards I headed into town to go round the Christmas market and discovered the nice cheese stall isn't there this year. I now need to think of something else to get my grandpa. Then I wandered along princes street and went into game station where I indulged a bad habit and bought a new Pokémon game. They're designed for 10 year old boys but I like them. They're good to play on the bus to work.

Off to see law abiding citizen later which should be good if it's not too gory.
