Mothers Day

Poppy came bounding at 7am (so 6am in old money) because she was so excited with the card she had made for H who was very pleased with her presents (phew). After breakfast Alf and I watched the GP - really good to see Lewis doing well and lots of excitement through the rest of the field. Then out for lunch with H's folks. Whilst we were there Poppy took this picture of H, it's far better than anything I took today so she has very kindly let me use it.

After a brief water fight we watched Captain Phillips. Great film I really enjoyed it but I think they could have at least mentioned Princess Anne.
