Blessed

Managed to have a small lie-in this morning following breakfast in bed brought to me by eldest son. Whilst I got cracking making cakes for the afternoon tea party for mum and MIL, Hubby took the boys to church where they each decorated a cup cake for me. Youngest son's cake didn't make it back intact though as he couldn't resist eating the toppings on the way home.... He had written me a lovely poem on the flowerpot you can see in this photo. It said:

Gifts for my mum.
I will give to you the perfume of a beautiful red rose,
Chocolate cake with creamy buttons on top,
A song from a flappy Robin,
The view of Beeston Castle,
A warm and cuddly hug from me.

Makes your heart melt...
