What a difference a year makes

Last year on Mother's Day I was 6 months pregnant. The doctors had told us she probably wouldn't make it through the pregnancy and I just remember thinking that it was probably the closest I would get to a Mother's Day as a mother.

This year I have spent the most beautiful day with my happy bouncing (quite often literally) baby girl. We had a walk by the lake and a picnic under the trees in the park. She is a true blessing and she amazes me every single day. I don't know how to say how thankful I am.
