Damson snow.
No wind today so the petals of the damson flowers are falling gently and constantly like perfumed snowflakes. I wonder will it produce fruit this year. In 33 years that has only happened three times, all in the last 5 years. Nothing last year.
Aren't blackbirds very obliging? They stay in the one spot for a long time. Got loads of practise with my one today. Some good shots, but you've met him already. There's a bunch of tiny yellow tits flitting around the gardens. How the hell do I capture them? They won't stay in one place for 10 seconds. Got a few blurry silhouettes, that's all. More practise needed
