Haunted house

Today's cycle ride was out through Whitehill golf club at Rosewell. The Big House, now empty but awaiting development, was once a home for disabled children and was also a hospital in the 1st World War. A local guy we chatted to says the house may be haunted - by a baker apparently. He has smelt cooking in the house, when no one was around. Oooooh!
