Anniversary blossom.

I was sad that I had to leave my cherry blossom tree behind when we sold our old house, so a few years ago BBB whisked me away for a romantic weekend for our anniversary, and took me to a tree nursery to buy me a tree for our new house.
The cherry trees were all too big to fit in our car!
So he bought me this miniature one instead.

It sits outside a window, and every year now it is flowering on our anniversary :-)

Next year we will be able to give each other presents made from silver paper!
