Lichen

As I am working towards a Woodland Walk with my group in school I have been trying to bring my own knowledge up to scratch. One of the things the children were interested in on the last walk, was the different "things" we found growing on trees. Lichens are a good indicator of air quality and this one means very good quality! As the better weather sets in, a series of photographic lessons will come in to play. the children taking their own pictures for their brochure and powerpoint presentation.
