Thankfully it's sunny

This is one of those few days so far when, though the wind is still blowing, there are large swathes of the country where it is too weak to provide much power. The East Coast, the Midlands and central Wales appear to be affected.

Luckily, much of this may be offset by a good mix of solar PV, as high pressure regions normally bring fine, and therefore sunny, weather.
