I think 'heron' and 'White-faced heron'.

The legs are not yellow, but it does claim at one link that the legs of a juvenile one of these are green-yellow and an adult's are yellow.

A juvenile's non-breeding plumage is blue-grey. I think this specimen appeared slate grey from the distance I took the photo.

What a lovely elegance.
