Sitting in the trolley like a big girl... X

We all slept in til just before 8 this morning. Mike had gone out with work last night and I'd been so shattered, I was in bed asleep by 10.30pm, so I felt very refreshed this morning. Mike got Eva up, washed and dressed, brought her into me for her milk and Mommy cuddles, then took her downstairs for breakfast and with him when he took Jake to his moms, while I got myself showered and dressed.

We went to Sainsburys when Mike got back from taking Jake. In the past, Eva has either stayed sitting in her car seat and we've clicked that onto the top of the trolley, or she's lay in the little baby seat that some of the trollies have on them, but today, Eva sat in the trolley seat and looked proud as punch. Awww she was so excited, her little hands and feet were doing their little excited twirls.

After Eva's sleep and lunch today, we went up to the cricket club. I'd packed Eva some toys, some snacks and a bottle of milk and she had a great time while Mike and I caught up with some of his hockey friends and had some lunch ourselves. Had a lovely chat with Sian Spiby and decided we must arrange a picnic or something soon where we could chat and the children could play.

Eva played with her toys when we got back. We were also trying to get her to stand up again, but she didn't want to. She was however, quite happy stood up on her tiptoes whilst sat perched on either mine or Mike's hand lol. Xxx
