a bovril and malt loaf moment

after loading the car, collecting steve and getting to the river while it threw down with rain and blew a gale, we were rewarded with a glorious day.
the rain stopped 10 minutes into the paddle and by 30 minutes we were overheating and wondering about sunscreen (he's scottish!)

16 miles of complete relaxation!
