Musical Chairs

If you've ever arrived in Dundee by train chances are you've probably seen this place from the outside. It's one of the buildings over the railway line (which is well below road level at this point). I like these buildings. I'm not sure how old they are, but I would guess at early twentieth century, maybe late nineteenth. You can still see the old gas lamps hanging from the ceiling in this image. I've been told it originally housed railway administration and such like, but it's now home to Stage 2000. Through the door at the end of the corridor is the suite of rehearsal rooms and tuition studios where the man gets his Sunday lesson on how to be a rock god.
