Mr Blue Sky

Fantastic weather.

Hit the road at 7.20 and were in Hove at 8.30. Wonderful walk into Brighton followed by an amazing veggie breakfast at Iydea and then some seriously fun shopping in the North Laines.

This guy was doing some very adept stuff with a bungee wire. Everywhere you went people were jogging, playing beach volleyball, basketball, dog walking, kite flying ...

TSM decided to bleed spectacularly over Brighton sea front  courtesy of ill fitting shoes and did a lot of barefoot in the park stuff after that.

Went to the rather strange Veggiefest at the Hove Centre - rather like being inside a Holland and Barrett hypermarket with too many people wearing vegan rucksacks and without enough space between the isles. There was a police van and a curiously large security presence - maybe they were afraid that the Tofu Terrorists were in town or that the Veggie Avengers were going to cause trouble. Anyway we ended up buying soap nuts for our washing and sponsoring a rescue cat for six pounds a month, as you do, before coming home and enjoying a bit of domestic R&R including a very relaxed simple supper in front of Netflix.
