Silver linings

Spent the day alone at the 'other' house (apart from a trip out to get a heat gun; my new friend!)

No kids equaled no interruptions. My hands were busy sanding, sanding, and stripping but my brain could breath and had thoughts... my own thoughts!! It was tremendous!

There was a lot of dust and noise and a few disappointments like spotting pretty bad flaws in the new plastering, but there were silver linings too... we seem to have a mahogany banister!

Got home to happy kids and dazed husband. Boy done good.
