Dressing Up Day

Working today at a "Dress Up Shop" in Edinburgh as part of a new fashion event organised by This is Edinburgh. The idea is that shoppers who have just made a new spring purchase but aren’t sure on how best to accessorise it visit one of the three new Dress Up Shops where stylists will show them how to glam up the outfit. And when they've learned from the professionals how to add those crucial finishing touches they get a few photographs from a professional photographer. Which was where I came in. First weekend of four and things were a little slow, as you might expect at the start of the campaign. I'll also be doing it again in three weeks time on the last Saturday of the four. While we waited for our first customers today, I took some pictures of some of the other people involved. This is Hannah Young, milliner at Rose Young Millinery, wearing one of her hats.
