Never Forgotten

It's not a great quality image (excuse: it was getting dark and the iPhone has no flash) but I was touched by the single rose strapped to this bench in Inverleith Park.

The plaque on the bench reads:

Lesley Armstrong
Gone but never forgotten
1952-2005
And her much loved collie Jessie
"

It struck me these benches with plaques we pass in the park are almost like gravestones. And in this case, Lesley - and Jessie - really haven't been forgotten.
