I took in the History Of Portrait Photography exhibition. Featuring work from very early photographers right up to the likes of Koo Stark, Snowden and Lichfield.

Here we have Mick Jagger photographed by Jane Bown, and Ali McGraw & Steve McQueen courtesy of the Linda McCartney Picture Library. Worth a visit if you are anywhere near Summerlee in Coatbridge.

Then I spotted a picture I had seen on Blip which was on display as a competition winner. Well done to the Blipper in question - very well deserved. .
