The Cratur

This is the interior of Gill's on Crieff's West High Street.

I used the fisheye lens on my iPhone because an ordinary camera lens just wouldn't have done it justice! For a wee shop there's an awful lot of whisky!

There's also cheese and pate and black pudding and loads of other stuff (you can see into the back shop, just) but really, it's the sheer variety of whiskies in stock that really makes the shop.

So traditional to be sure, but here they are on the internet at www.scottishproduce.co.uk happily marrying the old and the new. It's a lesson in how to survive that some other retailers should take to heart!

And I can't think of any Easter/Lent related connection for this unless, unless.....wait a minute! What's one of the most common things people give up for Lent? Yup. Alcohol!!
