This library rocks

With no staff, materials or advance notice we magiced up a mother's day craft exercise for the kids yesterday. With no staff to supervise them (there was also a knitting and reading group on) the kids were magic back and spent hours on making beautiful flowery sparkly cards for their mums. One wee star Z made us a rosette. She rocks. And so do we and we are doing our best but soon we will be almost out of materials and the three of us were run tagged between the groups and normal borrowers. Quite a few job seekers being 'sanctioned' now when they can't search online due to basic literacy and computer skills. We do our best and we keep on doing it.. but better planning, staff and provisions would help.
