Vineyard

Set off bright and early for a bike ride - must keep up the fitness and well being!!
That took care of the morning as we had to be at the Opihi Winery for lunch at 12.30, a mad dash to make it on time. But we did.

Two photos taken....The greens are really this green, you may notice the netting that covers the vines, the grapes are ripening and the birds are hungry.

The occasion - Clare, my good friend and work colleague for 23 years has finally retired. A fine time we have had and for me a great catch up with the old work crew. Then, if that wasn't enough we travelled a little further on to a Boutique Brewery for beer tasting and more laughs - aided and abetted by the beer topups I suspect. We left them to it and got home just before 6 pm.

Now settled in for the evening to watch some rugby.
