Mending fences

After all the rain, Kobble Creek has flooded across the road and taken the fences with it, and coming home last night I had to help herd my neighbours' cows back into the paddock.

Blipped this image this morning as I drove through the creek. Mrs M and Daughter 3 were trying to locate the star pickets and barbed wire in the flood waters so there is no repeat performance. Daughter 2 (out of picture) didn't appear particularly enthused by the project, affirming her oft cited position that she will never marry a farmer.
