Note:
On the bottom there is evidence that the kiln did a "reduction" firing (reduced oxygen) that made the iron oxide in the white stoneware turn pink, which in turn affected the Blue Oxide that was sponged directly on the unglazed bottom edges such that it changed from blue to purple
(blue + pink = purple).
However, where the Blue Oxide was sponged on the Porcelain Clear (which protected the clay from the reduction) it remained blue.
