Under the World's Greatest Bird

My Florida time is running out. I'm thinking of heading home to Michigan on either Monday or Tuesday. I would think about staying longer if Florida (the Sunshine State) would show their sun, but...again today...the sun be not shining.

At least it was warm. 77F degrees, with a little rain. I decided that I better get out, and shoot a few pelicans.

The almost white sky certainly didn't help my picture-taking, but I ended up getting in at least 3 staring contests. All 3 were within 5-10 feet away. The birds couldn't tell, (because I had my camera up to my eye) but I was holding my own in the staring department. Steady...steely-eyed...determined.

I'm watching my Michigan Wolverines play basketball (close game...nerve-racking)...followed by our Michigan State Spartans. It's gonna be a late night.
