"Locos de Bogotá" ( Bogotá's Crazy People)
This painting, by Colombian painter, Leonel Góngora, depicts three famous crazy people --Pomponio, el Bobo del Tranvía y la Loca Margarita-- who lived a long time ago on the streets of Bogotá, the city where I was born.
Góngora lived in Amherst, MA, where he became a professor of painting at the University of Massachusetts for 30 years.
I liked how the morning light illuminated part of it.
