Voodoo Lily

This Amorphophallus konjac/Voodoo Lily/Stink Plant is blooming in the Arboretum's Conservatory. I didn't think it stunk, but then it is past its prime. I had a relaxing hour in the conservatory taking photos with very few people around.

Tomorrow morning we are heading north for a few days. We have decided if we can't beat the winter, we might as well enjoy what we have been given. There is new snow up there so will be able to do some skiing. I would be happy to sit and look at Lake Superior and read a book, but I am sure we will be out and about with the cameras. Off to pack!
