The Cistern

Under all the brambles and bushes is the cistern for our cabin. The cistern is a concrete box that holds water that comes from an (in the mountain) underground spring and then is pumped into the house as needed. We have had the water tested several times and it is pristine and free of anything harmful....but...with all the work we have been doing to the cabin, the water stopped pumping in. We can't figure out what is wrong so as a last resort, we dug down to it and opened it up. There is plenty of water there just not in our house! Nest step is to call the water pump man!
