Out and about

Sun came out this afternoon, so after trying to get herbie to sleep at lunch time, but failing as he was not having any of it, we got out in the yard.

He was quite timid to begin with, quite aware of the new space he had his freedom in, the sounds of the birds caught his attention, the barking dog next door and even the wind in his hair.

He took it all in enjoying the new senses and pretty quickly picked up the sign for birdie. He helped me pull out a few weeds out of a tub and as we have been teaching him, he began putting them back in for me. Bless, such a confusing world with so many different rules for different situations. He is picking up on them fast.
