My sister's meteorite

My sister found this "meteorite" on the bank of the River Tyne a couple of years ago. She's decided to seek some expert advice next week to discover whether it really is what she thinks it is. It certainly looks like the meteorite pictured on p. 62 of I-spy the night sky that I have next to me as I type.
