Friday evening curry...

On a Friday evening, what better than to sit back and have a nice homemade curry, in this case with lamb (chopped up lamb's leg steaks no less….no skimping tonight). I had slowly simmered it nicely for about an hour, and as well as being tender it had a lovely lamb flavour.

It wasn't too hot, medium at most which I am tending to prefer these days, with some simple Basmati rice with a touch of turmeric and ginger.

May not look the greatest, but I really enjoyed it.

I should have done a bit of training today, but I've just decided to relax. I'll head out in the morning for 10 or 12 miles, and then start looking forward to a Saturday night birthday bash for my eldest daughter's partner.
