Prodigal Sun
I have returned (and I brought a little bit of sun).
I went on a little hiatus the last week in preparation a and completion of my finals. Basically it was killer. I studied for at least 24 hours straight with no sleep and 5 or 6 days in a row with just cramming. Tough tough tough, but I did it. And I ended up with an A in both classes, so it paid off.
Today I left Rome for the first time in a while. Me, Rebecca, and Melissa took a train to Sperlonga. And if you're like me, you've never heard of it. It's a beautiful little beachy town about an hour and a half outside Rome. It's perfect. The epitome of small town Italy. I love it.
The sunset tonight was the icing on the cake. Today, everything was great. I'm so lucky, blessed, and happy to be here.
