18th San Lorenzo

Originally my fantasy golf course was going to be confined to Yorkshire but then I thought it was silly to ignore one of Portugal's best known golf holes and we are going to Ireland in April, so the fantasy is extended to include these two countries!

The 18th at San Lorenzo is a 371 metre (for men) 327 metre (for ladies) par 4 over two lakes with a sloping narrow strip between the two lakes. We have been coming here for years and I have never seen an amateur make the carry!

Our last round of golf today, back home tomorrow. Missing the dog now, sure she will be pleased to see us.
