Two-Toned Muscari

A warm sunny day today, although I have been catching up with some indoor jobs. The deadline for the article I am writing for our village magazine is fast approaching, so much of the morning has been spent writing the final version and sorting out a selection of photographs to go with it.

I have already blipped a Muscari (Grape Hyacinth) this year, but today’s flower is a two-toned one and a slightly different shape. I also have some, which are blue at the bottom and white at the top, but a good look around the garden, where they should now be flowering shows that they do not appear to have come up this year. Today’s flowers are special ones planted in our large border on the grave of a very special cat; Splodge.
