A day at the theater

I was so excited when Jimmy forced me to get out of my bed this morning. For some reason I slept until 9:30 this morning and he was getting me up so I could get easy for church. When I realized I actually did need to get up I didn't give myself much time, but somehow I managed it. I got all dressed up in a dress y'all! And I did it because it was a super fun, theater packed day.
First up was church, where we met up with Jena and enjoyed another awesome talk by Andy. We chatted with friends after and then ran home quickly because I forgot the tickets, obviously.
After a quick run home, we picked up tropical smoothie sandwiches and Jimmy dropped me off at a gas station where his mom and Jim were waiting. We had plans to go see the play Memphis. Once we got to the theater I ended up sitting in the first row of the pit, meaning I could literally touch the actual stage from where I was sitting. It was pretty cool, I saw lots of spitting and sweating. The play was awesome and the singers were incredible.
After the play we walked around the Landing and Jimmy met up with us for dinner at this cool Irish Pub. We ate good food and hung out by the water. Eventually it was time for us to go to our next play.
We had tickets to see BRIAN REGAN! I was so stoked. He is my favorite comedian and he didn't fail to impress this time. Even his opener, Kermit Apilo, was really good. It was a great experience and we stayed afterwards to try and get a picture with Brian, but the security guys gruffly told us that he left immediately after the show. Womp womp. That would have been an awesome picture, but we took one of the sign so that counts right? Overall it was an awesome day and an awesome weekend. I'm just living the life guys, and it's awesome.
