Simple pleasures

So a week ago if you'd offered me a way to lose half a stone in three days I would most probably have bitten your hand off (maybe herein lies the problem), but no, after an enforced three day fast brought on by severe tonsillitis I think I'll stick to the more traditional methods.

Who would have thought what exquisite luxury a simple bubble bath would be after being seconded to my bed for days.

My little soldier has been a brave boy through all of this adversity (Nana taking over the ship which is routine) and has only complained of a minor tummy upset which can be fixed, apparently, by jelly! Thanks to friends who have taxied miniman back & fore to nursery his routine has barely changed. I think he may be weary of washing his hands after each visit to mummy but he's grasped the idea that I'm germ infested and it's better to wash them off!

I hope I shall be the other side of this in super quick time so I can return to 'what I call', normality!
