Stop It...I Like It!
Hi Tom
This week I've upped the anti as far as my fitness goes. I've gone back to swimming on the two mornings I'm not doing Bootcamp. Boy did I feel unfit in the water. I really must keep this up now as my open water starts at the end of April, plus I have a couple of open water competitions to do.
I've also entered my first 10k race along with a couple of 5k runs. One of the 5ks is called the electric run and starts from Wembley that's at the end of April. It's during the evening so should be fun. The 10k isn't until November thankfully, so I have lots of time to train. This week I've been out running nearly everyday.
That on top of my Bootcamp which I need as I've got one of those muddy obstacle races to do next Sunday. Nicks doing it with me so I'm hoping he will help me up and over anything I have problems with. I'll probably be too slow for him and he will bomb off. I've also entered another two different muddy races throughout the year. If I like them I may enter a few more.
I've also been making the most of the last few Zumba classes. Tuesday is finishing next week :( and Thursday is finishing end of May. We are all hoping that our instructor Lar will be back after she has had the baby. I love it and her so much.
So you can see this week I've been on the go. As much as it's been hard, i have really enjoyed it.
The shower room is almost finished. We are just waiting for the new window to arrive and the electrics to be finished. New wardrobe doors have been fitted. It's all looking nice. Then we will start the next project.
Maisie and Oscar who have been play fighting this morning have the best dog run ever...the tennis court. We have blocked where they can get out under the chain link fence and they can now run about as much as they like....and I don't have to panic about them anymore.
Last two work Saturdays left for me. I'm looking forward to having my time back and working in the garden. We have so much work to do outside and I'm really looking forward to it.
Not long and you will be back...time is flying!
