Just Flying Around

Just flying around in OK-FLY, a Piper Archer III. I had reserved OK-MIL, a Cessna 172SP, but it was gone for service when I arrived, so I got the Piper. I love this Piper; it's a great aircraft.

Visibility was horrible. Also the discerning viewer will notice that I have the pitot heat on, although the temperature was over freezing (just). I must have inadvertently hit the switch when turning off the carburetor heat; the carburetor heat lever in this plane takes a lot of force to move, so it happens sometimes. I turned it off a couple of minutes later.

Also this picture is very similar to my entry for Nov. 1 (similar visibility, nearly identical airspeed and altitude too).
