Chaos

I don’t much like to do collages, but this is a quick feeble attempt at something like “chaos” with the 4 grandchildren today after school. donuts on the way home, milkshakes here, and then the rain held off so we could go to the playground- yea! with balls and umbrella. Something for everyone. Tatum and Niklas even enjoyed playing on the float plane -- something they have done since they were 1 year old! (It’s a much more sophisticated story now!) They helped sort one tray of slides - (we're up to 1971, their dads are 4 and 2!) One screaming fit when Fiona didn’t get her way with stubborn Osker (Tatum is trying to divert her attention). Pancakes for dinner. The big hit was that knit cat all finished. Fi found a knit coat on another doll that just fit the cat. she was delighted when I said yes it could live at her house. They were inseparable. The cat’s name is “trumpet”. :-) Now Tatum and Oskar want one! (a cat and a guy).

And I thank everyone who looked at my motherbear project blip 2 days ago and ordered patterns-- that was a very nice unexpected result --hope you have fun knitting!!

All I can do tonight - getting ready for an early morning trip to the Island for 6 days! gotta go pack up my yarn etc.
