DUKEEEEEEE

Today was a whirlwind.

Did not sleep last night.

After school and a gov review session, I came home and slept.

5 pm
Accepted: Cornell
Wait listed: Dartmouth, Harvard
Rejected: UPenn, Yale, Brown, Princeton

It was miserable. Each time I had to go to the site and plug in a new password to find another rejection.

I cried a lot. People did get in ivies. But people also did not.

7 pm
Accepted: Duke
Just as the master class started, I found out about duke. Thank God. I think it's a really solid choice. My sadness is kinda blurring it though unfortunately.

I played mediocrely in the master class and I don't think she had anything profound to say. I just wanted to go home. I broke down in the car ride home.

After crying some more, I started turning around actually when I was texting Ben who was accepted to duke.

My heart hurts for Hannah who was wait listed literally everywhere.

Stanford is tomorrow. Today has knocked any hope for that. I just want to finish hearing back.
