Aside the Banks

Lots of folks enjoying the 3 mile circular trail around Green Lake - I used to walk this all the time when I lived in another neighborhood - kids, dogs, strollers, bikes, skateboards, dogs pulling skateboarders, and so on. The light was extraordinary this afternoon.

But more rain is coming which is not helping the search north of us at the landslide site. These kinds of natural disasters always humble us in our mortal tracks. We all so hope more people will be located, just to help with closure as I can't imagine anyone could have survived at this point. Same goes for the Malaysian flight.

At the same time it is shocking how angry people can be at things that are so outside our/their control.
