Portrait

This is a portrait of a lovely, seemingly always happy, local man who I have had the fortune to meet through work.

He is due to retire very shortly and so I offered to take some shots of him as a sort of memory gift. He decided where he wanted to stand and I reckon I have got 3 or 4 very different shots I am pleased with, fingers crossed when I get them printed he'll be happy with them too. This one was very over exposed so I have had to edit it a bit but I think I can just about get away with it, I like his smile in this one. It has been mixed weather all day and the heavens opened shortly after I took this one so I feel pretty lucky not to have got caught in the deluge.
