Primates ...................

...................... in love!

You should have heard the ooooohs and aaaahhhhhs from the watchers as the female orangutan came down to join the male ..... he moved over a little, she snuggled up and then he put his arm around her .... they gazed at each other, gazed at us and then just sat there in quiet companionship together ..... very moving and cute.

This was in Tampa Zoo today - the weather was grey and cloudy but warm - the zoo was pretty busy as I suspect a lot of other people had the same idea but it wasn't too crowded .

Spent a lot of time in the aviary - some gorgeous birds there - took 499 photos in total - but still the orangutans stole my heart.

Flight to Pittsburgh tomorrow morning.
