A profusion of pink

I stayed at my good friend June's last night. I believe the description of choice these days is "my bestie" but when you've known each other as long as we have that seems a trifle modern and underwhelming description for our special friendship - one I treasure. As she pulled the living room blinds this morning I immediately spotted this fabulous chaenomeles on the fence and shrieked "that's today's blip!" Another joy of spring for you! I hope you like it!
