The Bum Clocks
"We'll just go the gig then. Not the aftershow party."
"Definitely just the gig."
"The party's on too late."
"Far too late."
So here's the blip of the Bum Clocks at the aftershow party. The gig - Vic Godard and Subway Sect at the Citrus Club was excellent, largely thanks to a splendid performance from support act The Sexual Objects. We also bumped into loads of people we know and met two fellow blippers for the first time - nice to see you Eco Dad and rancidand.
The Bum Clocks' ranty Stooges-inspired, rock 'n' roll take on Rabbie Burns was worth staying up for too, even though it was well past our bedtime. Only after taking this blip of Tam Dean Burn singing did I realise that Malcolm Ross in the background makes it #3 in this occasional series.
