alive and happy (?) whacking into the suet block.

I feel like whacking like that into a subject where we disagree.
Our son wants to sign up for an out of state university that takes 5 times as much money per year as our local university does. With the money we have saved for him he could graduate and master here and have money left over. No student loans necessary.
Where he wants to go ( nice name university and of course far away from everything that is well known) he will be drained after two years and have no graduation.

His parents want to let him do what he wants (as always). I can bite my nails....
