Film Making
Today, Keighley and Worth Valley Preserved Railway played host to yet another film crew, this time working on a WW1 film of the book ‘Testament of Youth’, the first instalment of Vera Brittain’s epic memoir, published in 1933 and covering 1900–1925 of her 1893-1970 life . Beautiful rolling stock of the period were in action and the station, including the bookstall, were transformed to represent the period. It even looked as though the station had a part, playing London Charing Cross!
