Station Summer Fete

Today was the annual Station Summer Fete. Up we got at the crack of sparrows to get the SSAFA Tea Tent ready for business at 11 a.m.

It was a bit over cast to start with but luckily the rain stayed off and eventually the sun even shone! We were specialising in Cream Tea's serving a cup of tea or coffee and a beautiful homemade scone with cream and jam for the bargain price of 2 euros or a fairy cake and a squash for the children for 1 euro. Here is Sue and Claudia serving our first customer, demonstrating their fantastic smiley service skills!!

We did very well! And now I'm absolutely shattered so am going to let Jamie take me out for dinner before I collapse in a heap!!
